How TipMe works
Pick one or more gifts from the menu on the creator's page, optionally add a short note, then tap pay. You can use a card or the wallet on your phone. The whole flow is one page, no signup, no app install.
Yes. You can stack any combination into a single basket, for example one Cafe plus one Ring plus two Roses, and pay everything in one checkout. The creator sees the basket itemized in their dashboard with your note next to it.
Yes, up to 200 characters. Notes are plain text only (no images, no links, no markdown), so the conversation stays clean and the creator's inbox stays manageable.
Yes. The checkout runs on a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, so your card number never touches our servers. TipMe only sees the gift, the amount, and your optional note.
No. The whole flow runs without an account on the buyer side, no signup, no app install. If you want a tip history or a receipt later, you can optionally create one, but it is never required.
Only if you choose to add it. By default tips arrive as "Anonymous" with your note. You can put a name, a handle, or whatever you want in the note, it is your call.
Yes. Before any creator can cash out a tip, they have to upload a government ID card to our payment partner. The small Verified badge on a creator's page means TipMe has confirmed there is a real, identified person behind the page receiving the money. It is not a quality or trust rating.
Tips are voluntary gratuities, not purchases, so they are non-refundable by default. If something is clearly wrong (you were charged twice, your card was used without permission, the creator is reported as fraudulent), contact us within 14 days and we will investigate and refund through our payment partner.
