Tips land in your dashboard as pending balance the moment payment clears. Funds sit pending for 7 to 14 days, the industry-standard window that catches chargebacks before money leaves the platform. After that the balance becomes available and pays out automatically on the schedule you pick (weekly or monthly).
Yes, before your first payout. Identity verification means uploading a government ID card with our payment partner so the platform stays compliant with anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering rules. It takes a few minutes and unlocks payouts on approval. Until you verify, tips just stack up as pending.
Yes, we support payouts in many countries through our payment partner. The exact list and country-specific requirements live in your dashboard once you start verification. If your country is not on the list yet, you can still create a page and queue tips, but payouts wait until we add it.

Closer to Ko-fi but stricter. TipMe is purely one-way tipping: visitors send a small gift because they enjoyed something, you receive the money, and nothing is unlocked or owed in return. We are not a membership service, not a paywall, and not a marketplace for content or services. That focus keeps the page fast, the fees low, and the legal positioning clean.
TipMe is strictly for voluntary gratuities, so no paid content, no adult content, no private chats, no offline meetings, no custom services, no commissions, and no illegal goods. Tying a tip to a "delivered" reward turns it into a sale and breaks our terms (and our payment partner's terms). Accounts that promise unlocks, perks, or services in exchange for tips are suspended.
You can close your account from the dashboard at any time. Any available balance is paid out on the regular schedule before closure; pending balance pays out once the 7-14 day window closes and then your account is fully retired. We never hold funds beyond the standard settlement window unless verification flags require it.
